One to watch: Rodney Branigan
Rodney Branigan is quite a talent. The London based Texan, has a knack for writing beautiful, melodic folk rock, and new single ‘She Bled’ is no exception. Comparisons to artists like Newton Faulkner or Patrick Park will be obvious, but Branigan sound like neither of these two. He creates what he calls “progressive folk fusion”, which has a sound all of its own. ‘She Bled’ is a very catchy song and the fact that he plays two guitars (a 12-string and a 6-string) at the same time, as well as a tambourine, make the song even more impressive.
